Home Staging Webinar: DIY Design

One of the best ways to accomplish chic, affordable decorating is to incorporate DIY projects into your home. A little creativity can go a long way. DIY design will not only help you save a lot of money, but it also provides a personalized touch that will add and character charm to your space.
We also love to use DIY design in home staging. When you’re putting your home on the market, you want to limit the out of pocket investment as much as possible. Whether you want to add a few fresh touches to the décor or need to fill a whole empty house, DIY staging projects can help give it a sense of home without putting a lot of strain on your wallet. Some can be accomplished in as little as a few minutes. Others may require a little more time and effort, but the results are worth the bit of elbow grease.
In this episode of Megan’s Home Staging Webinar, she will show you:
- Our favorite tools to use for DIY projects
- Ideas for quick and easy DIY projects to accent your furniture and walls
- A demonstration on how to create one of Megan’s favorite (and easiest!) DIY projects – an illustrated pillow
- And a handful of other DIY tutorials, including projects for the holidays and events such as weddings
Getting creative is the key to great DIY projects. Spray paint is one of our favorite tools to use to transform old, worn pieces into stylish treasures. Garage sales are a great place to find inexpensive furniture and décor. If it’s faded, rusted or simply the wrong color, spray paint can make it look brand new. Megan goes over a few ways she loves to take advantage of this easy, inexpensive and versatile product.
You don’t have to be an artist or even an exceptionally craft-savvy person to make beautiful DIY design for your home. Many of our most popular DIY projects are ones anyone can do, such as filling a clear vase with sand, beans or seashells. It doesn’t have to be complicated to be creative.
